Discovering the Beauty of KOYO MONTH
Aside from the famous SAKURA (cherry blossom) that starts MARCH to APRIL in Japan,
KOYO season typically begins mid September in the North while other areas in the south ends during month of November. This viewing season occassionally lasts less than 30 days.
By witnessing this wonderful creation, at the exact timing season of the month,
colors of trees have been a symbol of AUTUMN.
Different colors of flowers will bloom around in every season.
But the season of KOYO and MOMIJI is known as autumn-colored foliage in Japan.
KOYO refers to the phenomenon of changing autumn colors before leaves fall to the ground while
MOMIJI is similarly known to (KAEDE) or MAPLE TREE wherein dark orange, reddish and yellow leaves are all you can see as a symbol for the season of autumn colors.
