Sharing you are experiences in TAIWAN...

"Taoyuan International Airport" is an international airport serving Taipei and northern Taiwan.
Taiwan's largest and busiest airport.

We bought SIM CARD on this station before reaching the Immigration
and have it tested right away.
This is to make sure that we will have connection along the way
for we will explore some province area on our 3rd day in Taiwan.

We already knew that TAIWAN has good WiFi connection wherever you go.
(Airport, Bus Terminals, Subways, Train stations)
and YES, we didn't worry about it! WiFi FREE access all over TAIWAN.
Using this SIM did not fail us too... but we prefer to use the SIM we bought to have extra speed :-)

"The National Palace Museum"
Home to the world’s largest collection of Chinese Imperial artifacts,
the National Palace Museum is an impressive museum with equally permanent and visiting exhibitions.
Located in Taipei and Taibao, Chiayi County, with nearly collections of 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks.
This makes the largest of its type in the world.

Before exploring more the City of Taiwan and other tourist spots, finding their best food in the market is the most important part of our itinerary.

Along the way, nearby our hotel, we found this very humble store where you can choose dumplings, sausages, fish balls, chicken balls, kikiam in different variations
and black thick rice cake
dumped into a hot pot of water with noodles
topped with some vegetables like daikon or raddish
plus available hot chili sauces are ready on the table.

Where exactly the place was?
"SHILIN MARKET"
this is a night market at Shilin District of Taipei
and is often considered to be the largest and most famous night market in Taiwan.

Well, we arrived 5 in the afternoon and stroll all over the market and buy whatever we like...

MILK TEA
DRAGON FRUIT / OTHER FRUITS
SEAFOOD (SHRIMP / CLAMS / CRABS)
and grab some food back to our hotel for our midnight snack.

Note: A lot of free taste to offer where you can select and choose before buying it.

Our next stop, XIANGSHAN, also known as "ELEPHANT MOUNTAIN"
is a mountain in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan.

How to Get There

Easy and accessible, approximately 8 to 10 minute walk
and is close to the "Taipei Metro Xiangshan Station."

Just simply take the red line on the MRT all the way to Xiangshan. Take Exit 2 from the MRT station and you’ll see some signs for the hiking trail.

We choose to climb by night, to see this spectacular views.
It's a quick 20 minutes of hike.

How many steps does Elephant Mountain have?
We didn't count actually but we asked people of taiwan nearby this place and told us that there are 500 steps to the rock viewpoints (the first deck for selfie spot)and 600 to the top.
What can we see on Top?
Taipei 101 is a spectacular building and best stop to do your selfie. At night, the building is lighted up with different colors and impressive to see for romantic couple like us.
