The Magic we do from a block of SCRAP WOOD
The process of working wood, the act or art of making things of wood, the skill or work of making things out of wood... That's what Eric does with these pieces of scrap woods. Woodworking is the activity or skill of making items from wood, that includes cabinet making, wood carving, joinery, carpentry and other furniture. Matte the Layout artist that collects and assembles type styles and images, such as illustrations, photographs and logos creating a visual design in her desk that results into extraordinary kind of digital carving, w hile Eric as a woodwork specialist himself with the help of his machines that can cut different types of shapes to find and save ideas about scrap wood combined forces. By delivering information through enhancing wood scraps into new, Eric and Matte share ideas with these woods and here are the outputs... So, don't throw those scrap wood away! Discovering the Beauty of KOYO MONTH
Aside from the famous SAKURA (cherry blossom) that starts MARCH to APRIL in Japan, KOYO season typically begins mid September in the North while other areas in the south ends during month of November. This viewing season occassionally lasts less than 30 days. By witnessing this wonderful creation, at the exact timing season of the month, colors of trees have been a symbol of AUTUMN . Different colors of flowers will bloom around in every season. But the season of KOYO and MOMIJI is known as autumn-colored foliage in Japan. KOYO refers to the phenomenon of changing autumn colors before leaves fall to the ground while MOMIJI is similarly known to (KAEDE) or MAPLE TREE wherein dark orange, reddish and yellow leaves are all you can see as a symbol for the season of autumn colors.
