Transportation - Japan Railway Lines

Image
Rail transport in Japan  is a major means of passenger  transport , especially for mass and high-speed travel between major cities and for commuter transport in  metropolitan areas .  Japanese public transportation is characterized by its punctuality, its superb service and large crowds of people using it.  (I took this shot from the 25th floor of a famous building near the airport of Japan (KIX) and it simply identifies the interests to visit and witness the culture of this country. Starting from cherry blossoms, to shrines and temples, historic sites and castles, snow destinations to autumn colors, up to their festivals and beaches. There are lot to discover actually. But how can you get there?) According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_transport_in_Japan Rail transport services in Japan are provided by more than 100 private companies, including Six Japan Railways Group (JR) regional companies (state owned until 1987) which provide passeng...

Woodworks - Japan

Image
It's fun to do little things that can make children happy by the use of woods. My partner Eric is doing this hobby for a long time. I am amazed how we can still create object or character by using small piece of wood. It's my first time to witness this while Eric is cutting it one by one due to he will have his workshop again with the Japanese students. I now understand how it is difficult to work for woods but who could've imagine that even d last piece is still usable. 1. U need to create and print character, stick it into d wood and make it as a pattern.. We choose butterfly, heart, star, dolphin and bat (why bat? I don't know....Just in case motif is for holloween) 2. May makina para ma cut ang image. I took video of it 3. Then, we used sand paper (LIHA in tagalog) to make these woods skinny, we need to make the surface smooth because its dangerous for children if woods are not properly skinned. 4. Then, Eric has this special Oil that i...

ESTABLISHMENTS NEAR HOME - OSAKA, JAPAN

Image
Our Japanese house is located near some establishments like "SUKIYA" (a japanese restaurant chain serving gyudon, donbori and curry) you can reach this chain just by walking. On my first day in Japan, it's the first restaurant I tried. I want to try foods nearby especially I am endorsing their foods to our visitors like Filipino Tourists, French Nationals, even our foreign friends who will visit Japan soon. So, we ordered set meals like BEEF, OKRA, RICE with MISO SOUP plus CURRY with RICE, VEGGIES and MISO SOUP How's the BEEF? It's just an ordinary beef but even if, it tastes so good. Price: Y450 / meal is the cheapest price depending on the size and order and Y650 is the expensive one. It's like less than 200 peso per meal (Philippine Money) It's really expensive to stay in Japan even for a tourist but there are lots of things that you can do to save here, starting from the food. We have good kitchen at home and we want our visitors to exp...

It's my second time in Japan and I can't wait to see my love. I arrived 11 in the morning and it's 7 degrees outside. It was a day after Valentines day when I reached KIX (Kansai International Airport, Japan) but even so, they say "LOVE IS NEVER LATE NOR IS EARLY COZ IT ARRIVES PRECISELY WHEN IT MEANS TO" and when I reached home... "LOVE IS IN THE AIR" I found these! orientpearl.meets.risingsun Japan.with.love
